Passages 8.5 Door is used to reduce the entrance to the little beehive during off season.

Passages 5.5 Door helps prevent /reduce the entrance of Asian hornet in the little beehive during autumn. As drone passage is stopped, door's use must be restricted (if you want use it when drones are in the hive, you can drill a hole of Ø8.5mm for drone passage, but hornet will more easily entrance).

Passages 4.2 Door allows to keeping entrance / exit of queen and drones in the little beehive. Used to specific operations. With passages 4.2mm, pollen loads will not pass.

Evolutive Door, fully closed, allows the opening of passages only at the desired positions for various uses, such as to reduce the looting, to reduce the number of passages to strengthen the monitoring / fighting of bees against hornets… On the same design as Standard door, up to 10 passages 8.5mm can be opened at your selection by breaking the shutters. Once the shutter is broken, the opening of the passage is definitive.

To avoid warping, you must ALWAYS STOCK FLAT pieces.

Thinking : The use of Passages 5.5 Door is only recommended in case of presence of Asian Hornets. If the Hornets are not present in your area, it’s preferable to use Passages 8.5 Door, which will slow lesser the  passages of bees.
